Seacliff Calisthenics Club is an affiliated club of the Calisthenic Association of South Australia (CASA). CASA is the State organising body for Calisthenics in SA. CASA is affiliated with the National body, the Australian Calisthenic Federation. Our club and its members are bound by National and State Constitutions, Policies and Procedures.
Our club is also a member group of the Seacliff Community Recreation Association Inc (SCRA) and the club and our members are also bound by the SCRA constitution, rules, policies and procedures
ABOUT SCRA
Seacliff Community Recreation Association is an incorporated body locally known as the Seacliff Recreation Centre. The land and buildings are owned by the City of Holdfast Bay with whom there is an ongoing lease agreement.
The centre has a Board of Management who meets once a month and are responsible for all service charges, financial responsibility relating to the centre and its sporting groups, the maintenance of the buildings and all decisions concerning the centre’s management.
The SCRA has a Constitution (2015) and a number of policies including Member Group Rules, Code of Conduct and a Child Safe Policy. All coaches, leaders and any person involved with children at the centre are required to hold a Working With Children Check as required under the SA Governments legislated Child Safe Environment Policy.
The SCRA provide active sporting activities in Calisthenics, Gymnastics, Judo, Kindergym and Ju-Jitsu throughout the year and all are long term users of the centre
